On the road to his career, Jonathan completed his bachelor’s degree at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2012. There, he studied kinesiology with a focus on human movement. He earned his doctorate in physical therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in St. Augustine, Florida, in 2015. Since then, he has earned postgraduate certifications in functional dry needling and manual therapy.
Since completing his education and training, Jonathan has worked in outpatient and home health settings across the country as a travel physical therapist. He enjoys combining home physical therapy with outpatient care and believes the diversity leads to better outcomes for his patients.
Today, Jonathan’s specialties at Advantage Physical Therapy include post-surgical care, chronic pain, sports medicine, functional training, and balance disorders. He also offers dry needling, manual therapy, and electrical stimulation.
Jonathan grew up in LaPlace, Louisiana, but currently lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, with his wife, Anna, son JJ, and dog, Cali.
